Our home match against Grove Park was pretty straightforward, claiming a 20-0 victory, where Rui in particular looked impressively slick against a very good, Joel Makin-esqe opponent in Will Salter (below). We needed a good result after two defeats in a row.

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, this match was most notable for the fantastic food provided in the bar for everyone. There were pigs in blankets, ham and a deliciously succulent turkey to make sandwiches from, all provided by sponsor Alan Edge, along with free drinks. The players and some guests then enjoyed a fabulous Christmas meal, which was devoured by everyone. Hats off to the Warrington team in the kitchen.
